Job description

Your Mission

In this role, you establish Business Central as the central hub of a modern, interconnected system landscape, creating the basis for efficient, transparent business processes. The focus is on supporting functional areas such as procurement, finance, project management, and sales optimally, understanding requirements, and translating them into smart, scalable solutions. By combining stable operation, continuous development, professional interface management (e.g. with Salesforce), and targeted training of new key users, an environment is created where digital processes become noticeably easier, faster, and more reliable.

Your Tasks

  • Support & Operation: Ensuring 1st and 2nd level support for Business Central users including error analysis, troubleshooting, and escalation

  • Configuration & Development of Business Central (processes, reports, evaluations) according to departmental requirements including the development of interfaces to connected systems such as Salesforce

  • Administration of the software environment, especially user management as well as role and authorization concept

  • Training & Change Management: Planning and conducting training as well as onboarding new key users and supporting updates or new versions

  • Projects: Leading and coordinating projects and rollouts as well as new implementations with internal and external partners including requirements management and prioritization

  • Interface Management: Capturing requirements from departments and prioritizing as well as coordinating service providers

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience as a Business Central Administrator or Consultant with solid knowledge in business processes of procurement, finance, project management, or sales

  • Practical experience in creating and maintaining reports & dashboards as well as in user management

  • In-depth understanding of ERP processes as well as in cross-functional system support

  • Proficient in interfaces and integrations (APIs, Power Automate, ...) advantageous

  • Strong communication skills in German and English to moderate different interests

  • Structured, independent way of working as well as high service orientation & enjoyment of collaboration at eye level
