Job description

Your Mission

In your role as Assembly Site Manager (m/f/d), you ensure the on-time and cost-effective assembly of our plant projects both domestically and abroad, and you guarantee a smooth, safe, and efficient on-site commissioning process. With your organizational talent and strong team orientation, you independently manage our construction sites, coordinate internal and external teams, and ensure that quality and safety standards are upheld at the highest level at all times. Through your technical know-how, structured way of working, and hands-on mentality, you make a decisive contribution to the successful completion of our projects up to the handover of the plant to the operator.

Your Tasks

  • Leading and coordinating all construction site activities and assembly teams in close collaboration with internal departments and external partners

  • Coordinating staff deployment and resources, and ensuring workplace safety through briefings, inspections, and training

  • Organizing and documenting assembly processes, quality checks, and safety inspections

  • Preparing technical reports, defect lists, and other documentation, as well as identifying and implementing optimization measures

  • Supporting commissioning processes and customer acceptance procedures

Your Profile

  • Completed technical training (e.g., mechanic, mechatronics technician, mechanical engineering technician, electronics technician, or comparable qualification)

  • Several years of professional experience in assembly or site management within plant/machine engineering

  • Solid knowledge of workplace safety, quality management, documentation, and common tools

  • High willingness to travel (approx. 80–100%) and intercultural competence

  • Strong communication skills as well as very good written and spoken German, and good English skills
