Your Mission

As we expand our Engineering team, a wide variety of roles are opening up. That's why we fill our positions with different areas of focus: plant planning and layout, project engineering, development and production readiness, as well as cost & value engineering. In any case, as a Design Engineer at REPLOID, you will play a key role in turning our innovative concept into practice! We deliberately build on your strengths and decide together, in conversation, what best suits you based on your experience and qualifications. So we also welcome your application even if you don't meet every single point in the listing or don't have experience in all the areas mentioned!

Your Tasks

• Designing and further developing assemblies and modules of our systems in 3D CAD

• Modularizing and standardizing key assemblies with a focus on cost optimization, e.g. through alternative design and manufacturing concepts

• Technical validation of designs through to series release (design reviews, testing, validation)

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, requirement/specification documents and standard guidelines, as well as change management in CAD and PLM

• Technical coordination with adjacent departments (purchasing, automation, service, quality) and suppliers to select production-ready components

Your Profile

• Completed technical education (HTL, university of applied sciences, university) in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, energy engineering or similar

• Several years of professional experience in design or technical sizing and optimization in an industrial environment

• Solid knowledge of 3D CAD (e.g. Inventor, SolidWorks) and common engineering tools

• Understanding of cost- and manufacturing-oriented design (design-to-cost)

• Ability to document according to technical standards in both German and English

• Analytical skills, results orientation, and initiative
