Job description
Your Mission
In this role, expanding, managing, and developing supplier quality management along the supply chain are in your hands. With a pronounced analytical and structured way of working, even in dynamic project situations, you are independently ensuring that our supply chains and related processes function reliably. In close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, you develop our partners into strong, reliable, and compliant suppliers with modern QM tools. A willingness to travel of around 25%, mainly in the European region, ensures successful partnerships and still leaves enough time for what excites you privately!
Your Tasks
Design, document, and continuously improve supplier quality processes according to ISO 9001
Planning, coordinating, and conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
Conducting supplier qualifications including on-site audits, potential analyses, and concluding quality assurance agreements
Monitoring supplier performance and consistently pursuing agreed Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA) including handling supplier complaints using the 8D methodology with action control
Professional support for suppliers in using QM tools (e.g. FMEA)
Support in establishing an integrated management system (ISO 9001/14001) and implementing relevant compliance requirements (e.g. LkSG, RoHs, CO2 reduction)
Your Profile
Technical education (apprenticeship, HTL, FH, or TU) in mechanical/plant engineering
Several years of experience in quality management, ideally in a supplier environment
Training in quality management and/or as an auditor as well as solid knowledge of ISO 9001 (ISO 14001 advantageous)
Confident handling of quality tools (e.g. 8D methodology, FMEA), audit methodology, supplier evaluation, and technical drawing/specification interpretation
Proficient use of IT programs (MS Office), ideally experience with ERP systems and QM software
Intercultural competence in dealing with international suppliers as well as very good German and English language skills in speech and writing
