Based on LCA and carbon footprint analyses (ISO 14040/14044, 14067, GHG Protocol), you will build a reliable data foundation – supporting funding applications, sales materials, and sustainability reporting. Working closely with internal teams, you will define how data is collected and ensure that different departments can rely on a consistent and auditable information base.
Your responsibilities
Independently conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and carbon footprint calculations for products, facilities, and projects – including scenario modeling – in line with relevant standards (ISO 14040/14044, 14067, and GHG Protocol)
Design and build a structured data framework in close collaboration with the internal data team for corporate and product carbon footprints, with a focus on raw materials, energy flows, and logistics processes
Establish clear processes and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability in close cooperation with relevant departments
Contribute to the selection and implementation of tools and software solutions for CO₂, LCA, and ESG data collection
Work closely with external sustainability experts and certification bodies to clarify methodological questions, prepare and support audits, and document a transparent and audit-proof approach
Your profile
Completed higher education with a focus on environmental sciences, sustainability management, or a comparable field
Proven experience in conducting LCA and carbon footprint calculations; experience in sustainability reporting is a plus
Experience in structured data collection and data management, ideally from multiple sources (e.g., production, procurement, logistics, energy)
Strong knowledge of relevant standards, ideally with hands-on application experience
Structured and self-driven way of working
Business-fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
