Job description

Your Mission

In this role, your focus is on the operational processing of payroll, maintaining master data, and managing timekeeping. With your accuracy and expertise in Austrian payroll accounting, you make a significant contribution to a reliable internal service and actively support the establishment and further development of our in-house payroll. You organize your working time flexibly, aligning with deadlines and dates relevant to your tasks.

Your Tasks

  • Independent preparation, execution, and control of ongoing payroll for our employees in Austria

  • Management of absences, timekeeping, vacation balances, and business trip settlements

  • Point of contact for employees, managers, and external entities regarding wage tax and social security law issues

  • Maintenance and management of personnel master data, ensuring data quality, and creating personnel statistics and evaluations

  • Communication with authorities, offices, and external tax consultants of foreign companies

  • Support in audits, participation in payroll projects, and ongoing optimization of internal processes in close coordination with HR, Finance, and Controlling

Your Profile

  • Completed payroll accountant exam and several years of practical experience in operational payroll accounting, ideally in an international environment or in plant construction

  • Very good knowledge of Austrian labor, social insurance, and wage tax law

  • Experience with common payroll systems (Infoniqa, BMD, etc.) as well as timekeeping and HR tools

  • Very good German and good English language skills

  • Structured, accurate, and service-oriented work approach with high team orientation
