Team Lead Engineering – Plant Engineering, Series Development & Standardization (f/m/d)

Your Mission

Our Platform Engineering team develops series solutions and project‑independent plant components for our larval rearing plants. In your role as a team lead and experienced people manager with a collaborative working style, you will build up an expert team and continuously foster its development. When identifying standards and collaborating with Sales, Project Management and suppliers, you always keep both the goal and the path towards it in view. With your strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, you ensure that our solutions can be implemented at customers’ sites even faster and more efficiently in the future.

Your responsibilities

• Technical and organizational leadership of a small team in Platform Engineering / series development, including task prioritization and steering of execution

• Further development of the product and plant platform with clearly defined modules, assemblies, interfaces and variant logic

• Definition of standard functions within the series toolkit, clearly separated from customer‑specific options

• Planning and steering of platform-, standardization- and cost‑optimization projects through to on‑time and high‑quality implementation

• Integration of project and market requirements in close collaboration with Sales, Systems Integration, Project Management, Purchasing and Service

• Fostering the professional development of team members and continuously improving ways of working, standards, templates and documentation within the series platform area.

Your profile

• Completed higher technical education such as HTL or university degree.

• Several years of leadership experience (also welcome as deputy/second line) in the development or design of machinery or plants, as well as in variant and configuration management.

• Confident use of 3D CAD software.

• Strong understanding of technical and commercial interrelations and their impact on product decisions.

• Distinct communication skills and a strong team orientation.

• Ability to set priorities and maintain an overview even in complex situations.
